Every now and then the game provides a present, either a new character or additional coins. Next to the main franchise characters there are legendary ones that provide additional perks.

In Haunted Mansion you need to relight candelabras so the level does not go dark, in Toy Story you have to dodge coloured cubes, Big Hero 6 has jump pads to skip parts, in Wreck-It Ralph candies can be picked up for multipliers, in Lion King you need to avoid stampedes of wildebeest and so on. Some game elements are only available for specific franchises, such as carrying orbs in the Inside Out environment. After collisions a photo of the aftermath is often shown. There is no time limit, but the screen moves along with the character and if the waiting time is too long, the character disappears at the bottom of the screen or an event unique to each franchise happens and the game is over.

A single collision ends the game and the goal is to get as far as possible, earning points, in one go. Each tap makes the character hop forward and this is rewarded with a point.
